PRAY FOR YOUR BABY

When I became pregnant with my first child, I began to pray for my baby that was growing inside of me. As soon as my son Micah arrived, I could see that God had heard my prayers. There is power in praying for your unborn child before he or she is born! God heard and answered my prayers, and I believe that if you are pregnant, He wants to do the same for you.

But maybe you're still trying to conceive, well now is the time to start praying! Or maybe your baby is 19 like mine, or even 59 years old. Well, I encourage you to start praying now, no matter how old your children are!

 

In 2007, when our son Micah was about 2 years old, God spoke to my heart and told me to share my story of praying through my pregnancy with other moms and dads and that's when PRAY FOR YOUR BABY MINISTRIES was born. This site was created to encourage you to pray daily for your children.

 

If you don't know where to start, I have many resources to encourage and guide you as you spend time alone with the Lord each day, prayerfully seeking His will for your baby, along with tips on how to be a praying mom, dad, grandparent or intercessor for your baby.​

One last thing, a lot of parents are concerned and worried right now because there's a lot going on in our world and you maybe fearful for your children.  Please remember, our Heavenly Father warned us that all of these crazy things going on would happen in the end times. I think it is exciting to think that we may be the generation that gets to experience the return of the Lord Jesus Christ! Or maybe it will be our children's generation. Either way, we need to be ready and prepare ourselves and our children to meet Jesus. The Bible says that no one, except the Father, knows the day or the hour that Jesus will return, but we need to be about our Father's business (Read Matthew 24:36-51, 2 Peter 3:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3). Our business should be daily showing our children what it means to have a true relationship with the Lord Jesus and to preach the gospel and witness to others about the Hope that they can have in salvation through Jesus Christ.

So let's look up and put all of our hope in Him. Our Heavenly Father is sitting on His throne, and He sees everything that is going on. He is just waiting for us, His children, to put on our armor and use the greatest weapon that He has given us to stand up against the enemy...PRAYER! There is power in prayer! And because of the attacks on our children right now, we need to stand up against the enemy and pray more than ever before!

So, whatever your situation is, whether you are still trying to get pregnant or are waiting for your first little one to arrive or you are already a parent of littles, middles, teens or beyond, I encourage you to pray daily and stand firm on the Word of God and make sure you and your family are prepared for Jesus' return.
