If you were on this page, then my heart goes out to you. I'm sure you're feeling devastated right now and I want you to know that I am praying for your heart. Maybe you have recently lost your baby or maybe it was many years ago. Or maybe you have many babies in Heaven, either way, it hurts deeply and I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart breaks along side yours and I wish I could give you a big hug right now and pray for you in person...but since I can't really do that, if you would like, please contact me here.

I do not understand why God allows these things to happen. My family has experienced much loss throughout our lives, my younger sister and my mom both had two miscarriages. My aunt and my grandma each had a baby that lived only one day. And I also have a baby in heaven, but sadly it was through an abortion that I did not want to have. (Read more here...)

But whatever your story is, I want you to know that God sees your pain and deeply cares about you and wants to heal your heart.

 

I also believe that you will see your baby again in Heaven someday, just like I will see my daughter, my siblings and my nieces and nephews. And as hard as it is right now, I believe that God does not give us more than we can handle, even though it may not feel like that today. Fortunately, He does promise to never leave us or forsake us. Jesus carries us through these terrible trials and right now I pray that you can feel His perfect peace coming over you as you read this prayer.

So please don’t give up hope... Jesus is with you and He loves you more than you can imagine. I also pray that your heart does not turn away from Him, but instead, that you grow closer to Jesus during this very difficult time.

 

Finally, I pray that God will provide the right people to come along side you and that you can receive proper healing from the Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father,

 

Please send Your comfort to your child right now. She is hurting and needs Your comfort, Lord. Please give her peace in knowing that her baby is in Heaven with You.

 

Also I pray that You will bless the love of this couple and draw them closer together as they go through this very difficult time together. I know that this breaks dad's heart, as well as moms. I pray that you will give them rest and peace tonight and help them through each day, one day at a time.  

 

During this time of mourning and loss of their baby, I ask You Holy Spirit to wrap them in Your loving arms and give them comfort. Give them joy in knowing their child is alive in Heaven today and that someday soon, they will meet him or her. Please can give them comfort in knowing that their child will never experience pain or trouble, because they know that their baby is with You, Jesus.

 

Please help this family through their grief and be close to them now, Jesus. Thank you, Lord for hearing our prayer.
